Beam deflection evaluation block - The deflection ability of the sound beam is evaluated based on the signal-to-noise ratio of different angular offsets. Beam deflection ability is also influenced by beam design requirements. An application with focusing may not reach the same deflection limit as an application without focusing. Deflection capability shall be specified in terms of acoustic range, aperture and material.
