GS-1, GS-2, GS-3, GS-4 test blocks are designed according to NB/T47013-2015 pressure equipment nondestructive testing standard for ultrasonic testing of type II welded joints of pressure equipment. They are suitable for detecting type II welded joints whose thickness ranges from 4mm to 50mm with inclined probes. The scope of application of the test block is shown in the following table:

Test methods: (1) The probe with the same arc of wedge block and test block detection surface is selected, the probe is placed at the arc position of the front end of the test block, the ultrasonic wave is emitted to the arc of R50mm, and the probe is moved back and forth until the reflected wave of R50mm arc surface and R25 arc surface reaches the highest point, then the probe incident point and probe zero point can be measured.

(2) The probe is aligned with the φ10 and φ6 step holes to test the inclined probe resolution.

(3) A transverse through hole of any depth can be selected to test the refractive Angle of the probe.

(4) Simultaneous measurement of multiple transverse holes of different depths can be used to make DAC curves.
