The size and shape of ASME non-pipe weld check block are shown in the chart below. When the test surface diameter is greater than 500mm, the test block with the same curvature as the workpiece or the standard flat test block can be used. When the diameter of the material is equal to or less than 500mm, the curved test block, that is, the pipe weld check block, should be used.
